Last weekend away

Has anyone gone on a mini vacation that required alot of walking towards the end of pregnancy? Im 35 weeks & going to Atlantic city this weekend. I planned this a month ago & now its 95° out & I'm feeling uncomfortable. Any tips on how to enjoy myself?

Atlantic City shouldn't be too bad if you are staying by the boardwalk which is connected to all the casinos. Hop into one of them during the hottest part of the day or whenever you need to chill in the AC. Plus they have shuttles to take you from casino to casino so you can avoid walking the whole block. Been a few years since I was there but things shouldn't have change that much.

Yeah...staying hydrated is so important. Just listen to your body...rest when you are tired...dont push yourself and over do it. Make sure you wear the right shoes (very comfy)!!! Shoes alone can make or break the trip!!! Take a wide rimmed hat and dont forget the sunblock!! :) One last thing...ENJOY EVERY MOMENT!!

well I am 32 weeks and 4 days all this week I am at Country USA which is a huge outdoor music festival in WI, it's been in the 90's up here as welll... My only advice is to drink lots of water and when you have the opportunity to sit take it and rest also wear clothes that will keep you cool...just listen to your body and you will be fine :)

I'm supposed to be attending my cousins wedding (4hrs away) 2 days before I'm due! Thats gonna be fun! I'm desperately hoping to pop this baby out in the next week so that I have half a chance of recovering before it!

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time, its a great idea to have a wee break before baby comes to turn your life upside down!

Cant help much with tips on the heat I'm afraid...I live in Scotland!
