I'm 7 weeks and the day after I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant I had cramping also but I was told it's my uterus preparing for the pregnancy and wasn't anything to worry about unless I started bleeding. It lasted about 2 days and I haven't had any cramping since. :)

Hi! I'm 5 weeks and had the same pain. For me, no bleeding, just some stabbing pain. Always consult your doctor if your concerened. My doctor had me get an ultra sound and it just turned out to be stretching and pulled ligaments. It's my second pregnancy and I perhaps over did it cleaning and reorganizing the house.

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that if the pain is mild and can be controlled with Tylenol, you are probably fine.  If the pain is worsening, persistent beyond 24 hours or becomes severe, you should call your provider to be seen.  Also, if there is any associated bleeding, you should be evaluated.
Good luck!

I had something similar around 7 weeks. I went in to the er fearing miscarriage when I started bleeding and clotting. The baby was ok and my growing uterus had burst a cyst on my ovary. I suggest going to the er. Even if its just a cyst you want to be safe. Not to worry you but it could be a topic pregnancy which can be life threatening to you. Hope everything is okay!
