Maternity Leave..

So,  I am 32 weeks toady.
I am an Assistant Manager at Domino's.
I have trouble walking because of a pinched nerve in my back,  and I have been closing a lot. Which means I leave this god forsaken place at 2-3 am.

After a strong of horrible closings,  I wrote my two weeks notice on the calender. Next Sunday will be my last day.

I was wondering if I am leaving too early? Because now all I do is stress over money.
I'll be 33 weeksand 3 days when I leave.

I can hang in there I guess...
Just wondering when you guys left work?
And what did you do at home? I've already set everything up...  So I feel like I will ve WORTHLESS.

And I haven't made up my mind about quitting or not..
So far I've told them I am coming back,  just to keep that door open.

Well,  they are fine with me leaving whenever I need to.  Because when I come back I will be the GM.  We have a temporary one now.
I don't have a set maternity leave time or anything. The gm now is a drifter manager.
But I definitely struggle to work even 4 hours now.

And perhaps get with your store manager and see what temporary modifications could be done. If none are in his power (or willing) maybe you can try your HR dept. (Of course everything said civilly and professionally)

Maybe you should stay at work for as much as posible but under an intermittent leave of absence so you can miss the days you need because of your back and work the days you can. That way you make some money you don't kill yourself with pain and get your full time maternity leave with your newborn.

I agree with @ ChristiKaya; If you feel like leaving work is whats best for you then it may be. Nobody knows the pain you are experiencing. If your body is telling you to rest then that may be what you need to start feeling better . Good luck mommy to be(:

If you feel like you can't work anymore, don't. Do not rely on what others did or say, listen to yourself & your body! As for the money situation, God always found a way for needed money for my family when a new addition came around. Try to find a way to make money at home! Good luck! :)
