Midnight vent!! Ugh!

I've posted about my feet and legs and how the swelling just won't go away and how I never get time to just prop them up and give them the opportunity to go back to normal. Well tonight wasn't that night either. For years, my boyfriend has had this gaming session with his closest friends on Saturday nights and since we've had our first daughter and moved into the flat we live in now, he has been hosting game night with the guys to make it easier in case I have to work then he doesn't have to miss a session. (He's a nerd, this isn't like apples to apples and scategory....they play a game called Dungeons and Dragons and to me it's really annoying and childish since I don't play and don't have any interest in playing) Well they're all constantly here past midnight. Being loud, shutting our broken hallway door right next to our daughters room (you have to pull it so hard that it slams and wakes her every single time) drinking has now been involved, and they keep adding players basically every week!

I'm sorry, today, I wake up to a text asking me to clean as much of the house as possible before he gets home and he'll pick up whatever is left, I'm nice enough to 'obey' and do as much as I could while watching/playing with/occupying a very active and teething (she's getting all 4 fang teeth at once) 1 1/2 year old and while trying not to push myself too hard since to put the icing on the cake I HAD TO WORK TONIGHT! It was 4 1/2 hours of standing on my feet, squatting down, reaching over, lifting, carrying, and annoyance of work and though only a short time it was enough to top my night and make me ready for bed! But no...I get home, our daughter is still awake (normal though on the weekends) and I had to calm down her terror fit begging to color for an hour while him and his friends just laughed and had fun. I then put her to bed finally NO FUSS laying her down (thank god) and I go to bed myself. I have been laying in here over 2 hours now TRYING to sleep as best I can and I'm being awaken by laughing, loud talking, the sound of dice, people slamming the hallway door to go to the bathroom (right next to our room) and then the slam the bathroom door shut and slam the hall door closed when they go back to the front of the house. I'm so annoyed!!!! I need to sleep! I'm 39 weeks pregnant, I don't ever get time to just be alone unless I stay up late or wake up early, I don't have friends to hang out with or talk to, and 90% of the time I get a response of "well what am I supposed to do?" from him!

And one more thing, I'm not a confrontational person, I won't go to the problem usually and address it. But once baby is here if they aren't respectful towards me and my kids' sleep and rest and acting like they were last night, they will have one very angry, sleep deprived mother to fear!

They could easily find another place to game that's not the problem. The problem is I usually work Saturday nights so he's home with our daughter and its easier for him this way instead of hauling her to a strangers house until all hours of the night and I refuse to pay for a sitter for those hours when he's perfectly capable of taking care of her. My fear comes into play here though too, he cut out all partying and basically all drinking, he never goes out for one with the guys and stays out 5 hours longer than he told me, he doesn't really talk to a lot of his old close friends because of the lack of partying. So this gaming thing is something I'd like him to have and never hear me say no more gaming. Eventually there will be a time when I don't work Saturday nights anymore and ill be taking care of both girls. My thing is just how rude those people were and how he just ignores it! I mean I told him when he came to bed and asked if I was awake if he would be able to sleep very well if there were doors slamming shut every 5 minutes almost and people who just wouldn't keep the volume at a respectful level for the sleeping toddler on the other side of the wall and he got upset at me. I'm so tired all the time (got the opposite of nesting I think) and in so much pain, last night I did way too much at work and wound up with my sciatic nerve pinched and from the knees down I resemble a marshmallow! I'm barely getting any sleep from all the pains of pregnancy and pretty soon I'm not gonna get any sleep from having a newborn up every couple hours to feed.

I would walk out there and tell all of them to STFU and have some consideration for the child that's sleeping and the pregnant lady thats busting her butt at 39 weeks! And I definitely wouldn't be cleaning so they can play d & d, maybe you should tell your hubby that they need to find a new house to host their game at, especially with a newborn coming really soon.

And if your man wants to have friends over he can clean! I'm 32 w and when I get home from work there is no way I'm gonna clean. men think us to be wonder women, I told my man to put a bowling ball on his stomach and spend the day like that and see how he feels haha

go tell them to shut the hell up, and they don't like it find somewhere else to play! Just think your hanna have a infant in the house soon too, can you imagine if they were loud? The baby will never sleep!
