Does it hurt when they check? I'm so scared it might hurt.
Depends on your doctor. Some check. Some don't. It's not a requirement for them to check.
I'm currently 35 weeks and 4 days. They didn't say they'd check at my appointment this Thursday when I'm exactly 36 weeks, but now I'm kinda expecting them to ask if I want them to check. I am curious about how I'm doing, since I keep feeling pain every now and then but never for more than a few seconds at a time.
My doctor will start checking me at my next appointment I'm 38 weeks. I don't like them checking me like that so I ask my doctor if she could start at 38 weeks she said no problem just call if I have any problems
I got checked twice from 36 - 39 weeks and I'm going on 40 weeks it hurts for me because my babys head is so low that everything's swollen but early on it didn't hurt at all.
I'll have my 1st check at 35 weeks next Friday. I remember from my 151st pregnancy that its uncomfortable but not painful.
Started getting checked at 36 weeks, doesn't really hurt. It's just pressure. I find it to be more annoying than anything. Having the remove Everything waist down and sit there on the table with a sheet until the doc finally comes in annoys me for some reason.
I was checked every week from 36 weeks on til i delivered my daughter
My doctor checked me at 36 weeks. I will be going in on Tuesday I will be 38 weeks and he said was going to check me again.
If you remember what it feels kike when they did the first ultra sound and stuck that thing up you. Thats what it feels like. Its not painfuk at all. I started getting checked around 36 weeks. Its quick and easy.
I'm getting checked at 34 weeks
