Dr. I have been having all the symtoms dizziness, backaches, cramping, bloating and my breast are getting huge even a little queasiness in the morming when I start moving around but I have taken 3 hpt and they were all negative also my period was about 4 days early and it only lasted 2 days could I be pregnant.

hi dr. i have a few concerns, for the past yr my cycle has been very regular(you can set a clock by it) but. my last cycle was in may and it was two days early....my next cycle was due june the 9 but as you can guess i missed it...but i have taken over four test all but two having a negitive result. this would be my 4th pregnacy and im having all the symptoms(nausea,headaches,fatigue,cramping,sore and tender breast). could i be pregnant or is it something else?

Home pregnancy tests differ in their sensitivity (i.e., the ability to detect the hormone of pregnancy when it is present).  The most sensitive of these are First Response Early Result and Clearblue Easy Earliest Results.  The earliest either of these might detect a pregnancy would be at the time of the missed menses (generally ~two weeks after conception).  When a HPT administered at the time of the missed menses returns negative it is recommended to repeat the test in a one week.  If you do this and are still convinced you are pregnant go see your ob/gyn.

im in the same boat as you but the only thing is that i got my period 3 days late and for only 2 days

I would also like to know does being pregnant make you gassy. I am belging all day even if I have not eaten anything.
