First prgnancy full term daughter is now 15, 2nd baby lost at 25 weeks. Now I'm 10wks pregnant with my third child and I've had the breast tenderness(which has gone away now) some food cravings but that's about it. I haven't thrown up at all and I don't even feel pregnant besides being tired. Is this normal?? I went to a clinic (not my doctor) when I was 8wks to confirm my pregnancy but the doctor didn't do an ultrasound so I wasnt able to hear my baby's heartbeat. I go to my obgyn next week and I'm becoming extremlely anxious. I'm worring because i haven't been thru this in 15 years i don't know what is normal am I overreacting?
HI! IF you were my patient, I would advise you that you have every right to be anxious, but probably not too many reasons. I would consider you to be high risk though (I think all doctors will) because of your loss. I would start with a first trimester ultrasound--technology has improved dramatically in the past 15 years--we can now tell quite a bit about the developing baby on a very early scan. We have very good first trimester testing too, if you have passed that magical 35 years old mark. Once you see your doctor you will probably feel much better! Good luck! Dr B
My second pregnancy was just like that. I never got sick, I never once had weird cravings, if it wasn't for my increasing waist line (which honestly didn't increase that much), my absent period, and my constant sciatic nerve pain, I might not have known I was pregnant at all. Every pregnancy is different so try not to compare to much! Just because it's not exactly like your last 2 pregnancies. Also it's perfectly understandable to worry, even if you hadn't lost one baby, you would still worry. Just try to relaxe as much as possible! And congratz mama!
Thank everyone so much for responding. I went to the Dr. & they are considering me high risk. I'm really excited we got to hear our little ones heartbeat. I have to go back for more test, but we are thinking positive thoughts only :)

Was so worried because I've been high risk since the 2nd baby that I didn't know how not to worry bout baby. But first ultrasound showed a beautiful baby girl. Didn't know they could tell that early.
