New to Site

Hello All!

New to this site, but figured there were others out there just as frustrated! I haven't been trying to long, but I have been off ortho-tri cyclen since March, have been having regular 26 day cycles, and positive OPKS...no posititve HPT though! I had a pregnancy ten years ago that I terminated, so I  know at one point I was able to become pregnant. I am 26 now. It's frustrating to know I made a decision along time ago because I was not ready or capable or being a parent. Now that I am happily married and doing everything right, it seems so frustrating that it doesn't happen so quickly now! Anyway I am on cd6, would love to hear any tips from anyone else who is trying just as hard!

Hello I am pretty new to this site too.  I have only been trying this month.  My period was due Friday as I am 12 DPO now.  About two hours ago my period decided to join me this afternoon :-(  So very disappointed. Should of known it would of been very lucky to catch the first month.

Well good luck x

Hi. This is my 7th month to ttc and haven't been pregnant at all yet.  But this site has plenty of women with lots of tips.  Pineapple core is supposed to help, some sort of tea.....raspberry maybe. lol.  I can't remember.
Some people lay down for at least 15 minutes after BDing to make sure they swimmers have plenty of opportunity to do their thing.  Depending on your husbands sperm there are different techniques.  If his sperm isn't 100% you should bd every other day to let them build back up and get strong.  But if he is fine then you should bd every day like cassandra said. and extra around O day.  Make it fun and don't get to stressed about everything.  Stress makes it take longer to get pregnant.
And if you take your temp every morning when you first wake up before you get out of bed, that can show if you are ovulating because OPKs aren't always accurate :)
GOOD LUCK!!!

Hello! I am new on here as well. I feel your frustration! I'm 29, and we've been TTC for about 15 months, and I have pretty regular cycles as well. Taken OPKs, but never taken my temp. I've never conceived before ( or at least not that i knew of) I feel like I did such a great job at preventing a pregnancy in the years before with Depo when i wasnt ready or was in a unhealthy relationship. I just thought the moment I wanted to conceive, it would be like 'BAM' and happen! Yup, I've learned thats not the case for most women out there! Hang in there hun, I'm where you are...you're not alone ;)

Hey All! Looks like it's getting close to BD time again! I was wondering about some things, a while back I stoppped drinking coffee and switched to tea, I drink a cup a day, and thats the only caffiene I drink. Is this something that could really make a difference? Also do I need to quit drinking completely? I like to have a glass of wine every now and then after work or when my husband and I go out.
