Not about this pregnancy but my two year old

I Finally got my two almost three year old potty trained about 6 weeks ago I guess. She's being doing so good, no accidents at school and just a couple of them at home over the course of 6 weeks. Well she's definitely a mommas baby and is attached to my hip but this whole weekend she's been peeing in the bed every night and during the day and she's been pooping in her underwear too, why is she doing this? Is it something to do with the new baby?

My barely three year old is potty trained and has no accidents at school but he pees and poops on his floor at night. And sometimes in bed. I am thinking that they wake up in the middle of the night needing to go to the bathroom but don't leave their room. I'm thinking of putting a little training potty in his room invade he needs to go he won't pee in his room or on his bed. Maybe this will help yours too?

It could be that she is regressing a little. I'm also 36 weeks and I sense as the date approaches, our almost 4-year old is a little more clingy, acting a bit more baby-ish, etc.

For this, I would follow sorenr's advice - offer than she can go back to diapers like a baby or use the potty like a big girl. It doesn't have to be in a mean or humiliating way, but an encouraging "look at all the cool things you can do!" way. Our daughter is long potty-trained but with her other regressive behavior, we keep emphasizing the cool things she can do because she is a big girl, like going to amusement parks, etc... all things baby brother won't be able to do because he will be a little baby for a long time. She brings it up sometimes herself so I think she gets it. I'm not sure if she would have understood it to the same level last year (at your daughter's age) but she definitely understood at that age not having to wear diapers at night like a baby.

By the way, from our experience with them, I would avoid pull-ups. Our daughter, and our niece now, seem to view them as big girl underwear rather than diapers so they didn't feel an incentive to grow out of them. We went back to regular diapers and it did take a while for night-time potty training, but she decided one day she didn't want to be a baby anymore. Yes, there were some accidents but maybe only 5 for a couple of months.

I never had a problem with my first one, no accidents or anything even through my second pregnancy? I'm about to be 36 weeks and like I said she is a mama's baby BAD! So I'm wondering if she is trying to act like a baby or if she senses something is going to happen soon, plus both of them have been acting up and even

I would say not to stress about it, dont let her think youre worried, explain gently that because she's having accidents you will have to put nappies or pull ups on her. This might be enough for her, girls typically like being grown up and independant so she may decide she doesnt want this to happen. If she accepts it, leave her a couple of weeks and ask if she would like to try the potty or toilet again. She is still quite young so dont panic! Even just do this at night, it took me a good 6 months after daytime dryness to have my kids dry at night.
PS. If you have a boy this time, be prepared that he may take much longer to be potty trained, my son was a nightmare compared to my daughter! And at nearly 8 he still has accidents at night simply because he cant be bothered getting out of bed (I have eliminated all other causes) Boys can be lazy wee sods!!

It's a possibility. My son always back tracks with major changes and my other son seems to when he's about to hit a big milestone or sick. If she's not getting sick and everything else has been the same, I'd just chalk it up to baby. Still try to keep her going on the potty, but some kids need a break and will jump right back in a few weeks. If it seems to get worse then prlly take a break.
