OPK's do work as pregnancy tests

So after reading everythng4areasons question about OPK's as pregnancy tests, i decided that since i am def pregnant and had an extra OPK test that i would use it to see if it worked.  

Well ladies, it 100% did work.  the test line was so much darker than the control.  it was way darker than when i got a positive O result.

just wanted to share this with you ladies cause i thought it was very interesting.

Several years ago when I tried OPK's...the first month I used them I kept consistently getting negative results...I was beginning to think I wasn't going to O so just for the heck of it I took a pregnancy test and it turned out positive.  Guess I already HAD O'd before I even tried the OPK's lol.  She is now 5!

well all i know is i am almost 9 weeks along and it worked.  i just thought it was funny that it actually worked.  :)

HCG and LSH and similar in structure which is why the OPK will detect HCG.  The test cant not distinguish between the two chemicals, however.
