Ovulation

To anyone out there...I know all about ovulation kits etc. etc....what I need to know is, how can I track when I am ovulating when I haven't had a period (NO I am not already pregnant). I have been checked by the doctor's so I know I am NOT menopausal, but it's really hard to know when or if I am going to ovulate. My last period was October 19th. As I said, I am not pregnant. Do I have to wait for AF to track? If I get AF, then that means I did ovulate, but missed it. So...I guess the question is really...how do I track ovulation in the months that I miss a period???

I need help. Ok so my last period was the end of November. It's 2 weeks about past December. We've tried 8 or 9 times to concieve. Is it possible to get implantation bleeding so soon after period? It's brown for me haven't noticed any pink. Also when is the best time to take a pregnancy test??

Thank you for your responses but I cannot take anything like Femara or Clomid. I can't take anything for fertility because in 1998 I had an arterial clot in my foot and they won't take any chances with me. Thanks anyway, I just take all vitamins.

Hi!
If you are not having periods, you have three options---1)check tests everyday and sooner or later it will turn (hopefully!)
2)wait for your period and then start tracking with cycle day 11
3) call your doctor and get some progesterone (I like Prometrium) to start your period so that you can start tracking sooner.
ALSO
If your periods are very irregular, it means that your ovulation is irregular too.  While you are on the phone with your MD, you might see if you can get a prescription and instructions for Femara or Clomid.  These medications will help you ovulate more regularly and conceive quicker.

I am in the same boat as you are. My last period was around that same date october 17. I havent gotton my period since and it is december 9. I am not pregnant because I have not been sexualy active. I am also wanting to start trying to get pregnant. I would like to know the same thing. I had just bought a luna kit. It has 5 ovulation test, 2 pregnancie tests. a saliva test and also a basil thermomater and a ovulation chart. I also want to try and pinpoint my ovulation. Keep me posted if you find any addvice.
