25 weeks- Vaginal Itch

I had this back when I was about 12 weeks and treated with yeast infection cream but it took over a week to get rid of. I maybe felt like the start of one but took over a week to get rid of.
This time I'm 25 weeks and it's been pretty bad. I'm almost 100% sure it's my pH balance that's off. I've been using the cream all week and still not gone. I put baking soda mixed with water on yesterday and it burned me. (To the point that skin is peeling off now)
I'm not itchy on the inside but more around the opening and my skin on the outside. It's also a little swollen and not so fun to urinate or wipe after because it's sore and dry. It's also worse later in the day!
I see my doctor Monday so I need to do something for the weekend for this!!
I've tried a cool cloth...it helps but it's only temporary, so is the y/i cream.
Would diaper rash cream work? Vagisil?
I've read that a man's sperm actually helps level out your pH balance.
It's driving me crazy!!

Buy thick period pads for now so your underwear doesnt irritate it more and, you can also get these went and not get your underwear wet and be comfortable. I had this once I never saw my doc cause I was living in a safe house and didnt have one at the time, And It started off because I shaved and my hair irritated it...... but it just got worse and worse. I was contasntly wearing a damp period pad with an extra one underneath the wet one for padding so it didnt hurt... and even though I was busting I didnt go to the loo as much and dabbed not wiped.

I used sudocrem and thursh cream and everything... Baby lotion (Non perfumed) Mosturiser (again non perfumed) It just went away eventually...
After a week of using EVERYTHING i could think of.

I am sorry this is happening its so annoying. But try buying Period pads sticking on 2 but getting the top one damp.

xx

You might try asking your doctor about diflucan oral meds.

I wish I could remember the name of it, but there was a hair tonic that my grandpa used to use.  During the summers I spent with him as a kid, when I got yeast infections he would have me use it and believe it or not it worked better than most y/i creams for the burning and itching.  I can't for the life of me remember the name of the stuff tho.

The last time I had this, I went to the hospital b/c it was a long weekend and I couldn't take it anymore. I walked out with nothing but the advice to just keep using the y/i cream and if it doesn't go away then to go to my regular doctor to check for other things. He wasn't overly concerned but it's just so irritating.

I have suffered from Bacteria vaginosis which is anover growth of the other bacteria so not enough yeast. I take antibiotics and then end up with a yeast infection from them. I even eat yogurt and that doesn't help me. Last time I was 26 weeks and was able to take the pill instead of doing the vadinal cream. You should call your Dr and find out what you should use.

I'm just getting over a yeast infection and I had to get the 7 day script as well.  I also got a topical cream.  I would try calling the on call lice, maybe they can just call in a script for you.

Also, try eating yogurt daily.  The good bacterias in it help your PH balance.
I am allergic to monistat or anything with that ingredient.  Maybe you could be too?  I use it and it doesn't work.   This is going to be TMI...lol... but it makes my vagina area swell up so much that the skin will peel and crack (so painful to pee or have anything near it)  Every time I get one I either have to get a pill... which one dose wipes it out.  I did have one this pregnancy and the pill wasn't safe so I had to take a 7 day script from the doc, but no irritation and it worked wonders.

There is a creme that vagisil makes that is supposed to help with the dryness (I have used it and it works wonders!) and it takes care of the itch and irritation. I am sorry that you going through this and it is definitely something that your doctor needs to be aware of! I hope you feel better soon!
