I am 35 weeks pregnant on my second pregnancy.
For nearly 2 days now i have been getting dull lower back cramps, not like my normal back pains, and i have felt very restless.
Any ideas on what to do or what they are ????

I agree w/ everyone else.....You should call your Dr. I believe Braxton Hicks are mainly in your abdomen. I may be wrong....If it in your back, it could be true contractions. Only your Dr. can tell you for sure. He may want to monitor you...Good luck

im trying to recall but i think i had something with my son and my doc explained it was my body "practicing" for the real thing....its def an odd thing that would stick out

i would just touch base with your doc to reassure yourself that things are fine...you're almost full term =)

could be back labor..if you are worried I would put in a call to my doctor if it were me.  I don't really remember...my son is almost 4 so my last pregnancy was quite sometime ago.  :)  Either they will tell you it's fine and you can relax or they will check you out...either way it can't hurt

The cramps are coming off and on though, id say every 20 mins, and lasting around 3 to 4 mins each time, i also feel quite sick and light headed and as if i have dropped in 2 days ??

well...the baby could be on a nerve or just lying a way that is causing you more pain as it is growing rapidly at this point.  Also being restless happens to many women shortly before they give birth..you should only have like 5 weeks left right? so it may very well be nature taking it's course (the nesting instinct)
