Pregnancy Confusion...Help

Okay here's my dillema.  I took an equate pregnancy test the other night, it was very faint but positive.  The next morning I took another but it was walgreens brand and it had a thin blue line that make up a positive.  The next morning and like two times that day I took a few, one clear blue digital which was negative and onedollar tree brand tests that came back negative. I took one this morning, came back negative. I am having night sweats, I can't sleep, My stomache feels funny, I've had headaches and about a week ago I had heartburn for like two days.  Can they be false positives or are they false negatives.  Please I need some input

Hi there! I'm going through a similar situation. I have googled A LOT on equate pregnancy tests and just bought some. If you go to POAS.com it will tell you about all the different kinds of brands of tests. Apparently equates are SUPER sensitive. A girl said she took one and it was faint positive so her Dr. did a blood test and her HCG was only 14! Some of these test pick up at a VERY low HCG and some the HCG may have to be up to 100. So it could be walgreens and equate are picking it up because their sensitivity is lower and the other tests you're taking require a higher HCG in order to determine pregnancy. How late are you?? Or are you late at all? I tollf a first response because for some reason thought they all were EARLY detection and they're NOT! The one I took requires a HCG of 100 and I read at 3 days late, where I'm at the average HCG is around 70. It's so hard to tell everyone is so different. I'd be willing to be you're pregnant as long as the line was VISIBLE if you have to twist and turn the stick in a light you could be seeing the positive line where its at on the stick but not an actual positive result. I'm a POAS addict! =) This would be my 5th baby so well experienced here lol. Althought every pregnancy is different. I have ALL the symtpoms so we'll see what happens, every baby is so different. I do agree with the Dr. and best bet is to do a blood test. However, if you don't want to go that route, HCG doubles every 48 hours so if you got a positive on the equate and walgreens take either or in 48 hours and see if that line gets darker. Good luck to you!

HI!
Your best bet is to get a blood test.  It is possible to have a "chemical pregnancy"  which is one that shows up initially, and then miscarrys before there are any real symptoms.  It is also possible to have false negative tests.  Blood tests are the gold standard and you can rely on the results.

Good luck and congratulations (I hope!)

I also forgot to add, I have had back aches, a little cramping, a little queezy, and break outs on my face. I NEVER GET BREAK OUTS, only black heads and I have like 4 pimples on my face ugh.  I dont have sore breasts but I did spot it was really light and then brownish I thought it was aunt flow so i used a tampon and when I went to change it there was no need because there was only a few spots and nothing since
