Pregnancy from fingers
Hi. I'm very worried. I had a one night stand. I received oral sex and cleaned up with tissues. I then fingered her I'm now concerned I may have had a small amount of semen on my finger and that she could become pregnant. She is 38 I am 40. I don't think I had much if any semen on my two fingers but am worried about a worst case scenario. The semen was cleaned off of my penis by me with Kleenex. I handled the wet Kleenex then used my fingers very soon after. Hope this makes sense.

Sorry for the delay--I am supposed to be notified when there is a post in the forum, but for some reason it doesn't always happen with this forum. In fact, I found about six other posts waiting. I have spoken with the tech people several times and again.
I very much doubt that your partner would conceive in this fashion. I never say never when it comes to pregnancy, but the odds are quite low that enough sperm would survive to reach the egg.
IF she has a normal period, I think you are definitely in the clear.
Also, don't forget about emergency contraception which is available without prescription at most pharmacies.

hi, I was reading your post. Just some helpful advice. I am studying to be a nurse. From what I've learned you should be safe. Sperm dies in fresh air immediately. The only way for her to be pregnant is if you actually ejaculated inside her and if she was ovulating at the time of intercourse/foreplay. I really wouldn't be worried all that much. I hope this eased you a little.

Steve, there's a very slight possibility because the amount of sperm in the tiniest bit of semen on your fingers but another poster is right about the ovulating thing. She's gotta be at the most fertile days during her ovulation though. Ask the girl how she's doing in about a month or just pain ask her to test. Good luck to you, hope it goes how you want it.
Rest assured. Once sperm reaches the outside world it dies very quickly and highly doubt she could ever be pregnant from sperm on your fingers. Like most things internal sperm need the very warm 98 degree temperature of our body to survive. Sorry some.of these people were so rude. Just immature.

What gives? I do read. I'm a college prof...and you? If you read what I wrote I'm looking for the remote possibility of sperm outside the body entering the body through my fingers.If it were in there. I suggest you go to the self-help section if your local bookstore and find a book on how to be considerate..try the young adult section. If you want to get into a battle if wits with me you'll lose terribly. I came on here seeking help not amateur snark.
I am only 6 weeks but every morning for the last week and a bit I have light bleeds which go away. I still have all the pregnancy symptoms, sore breasts, tired, frequent urination. What could this be? I have an appoiment for Tuesday. I saw the doc at 4 weeks and 3 days. He could not see a reason for bleeds. Perhaps someome could give me possible reasons or similar experience. Actually I have heard stories of women becoming pregnant from it. How about you read some books on how to become a people person and not so dang rude and inconsiderate.
Now the chances of her becoming pregnant are slim but there could be a chance depending on how long because sperm dies outside of the body quick. Also she would have to be close to ovulating. Therefore I doubt it but if you are worried enough have her take a test.

I'm no doctor but I have a little thing called common sense. No, she's not pregnant. Read a book once in a while.

Hi, no I'm not kidding. Do you think I would pay to post a joke? Perhaps it's just my imagination but all kinds of possibilities are in theory..possible. I'm hoping the doctor can put my mind to rest by telling me that in practice what I did was not possible to lead to a pregnancy..
