Hope you feel better soon! hey the zofran in the pill did not work for me but the zofran in the tab that melts on your tongue was a miricle worker, you just can't drink water right after it for a lil while. tc ~d
Update - - so the Zofran for my nausea - - that I was so excited to try... well it only takes the edge off - - I'm still miserable most of the time... :-|
JoyRenee,
I am a nurse. I most often refer to my drug book, but if I'm not at home or at the hospital, I call my local pharmacy (Kroger or Wal-Green's), I just ask them "What is the pregnancy category for __________?" Just today I learned I could take Zofran for my nausea (it's a "B").
Hmmmm well i was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis and was given flagly to clear this up.... i was 10 weeks along when the dr diagnosed this.... my OB said to wait until the first trimester was over then it would be safe to take the flagly.....
Thanks everyone, I go to see the doctor on the 3rd, to find out if I am still pregnant. I am happy to hear that I am not harming the baby.
i wish i could help i just know..... i had a uti while pg and it was awful. i so worry about infections while pg too but you dont want it to get worse as far as the antibiotic is concerned. i have never been given pain meds. i do hope you get better soon tc

itisme0002, are you a nurse or pharmacist or something?! If you are, it would be amazing if you could compile a list of the different classes of drugs, which are safe and which are definitely not, and place it on the HEALTH PAGES in each pregnancy community!!!
PM me if you're interested in doing that!
Flagyl is a category B (which is safe - - tylenol and zantac are also B's). Darvocet is a "C." I'd stick with just Tylenol to be safe.
Not sure! I don't know if many people on here know a lot about drugs.
