Can I be Pregnant?

Please I really need an urgent reply now before I go crazy. I have been tested 3tym negative and till date have not seen my period. The last date was June 20th and I really dont know wat to do? Please help me.....

Hi!
Everyone seems to be missing their period this summer!  I wonder where they all went!
If you were my patient, I would offer you a blood pregnancy test.  If that was negative, I would probably prescribe a five day course of progesterone to get your period started.
If that worked, we could just wait and see what happened next month.  If no period then, we could discuss some hormone testing, and some medications to regulate your cycles.
This is a VERY common problem, so don't panic!

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I have gone to a gynaecologist and a pelvic scan was done and urinalysis, FSH and LH was done. The urinalysis was ok but the FSH read 16.0n/... while LH read 7.0 and Prolactin was 23.0n/.... the scan said that the ovaries where of the same size and there was no cyst and that the wall thickness was perfect. I am scared about the FSH and the Prolactine. Please what do you advice I was told by the gyna... to come back on the 21st day of my period so that he can check if I ovulate or not. What will happen if I dont? does that mean I can not get pregnant? Please help me out on this. Thanks

if you were real late u probably would bleed heavier since ur uterine lining would have gotten thick...I'm sure its normal though and not to worry...and yes I'm sure u can get pregnant, sometimes a womans cycle can be irregular, especially as we age

Thank you very much for your response. I started bleeding today and its so painful I have never experienced such before. Could it b as a result of my long missed period or is something really wrong with me and based on these changes can I ever get pregnant? please I really want to know and if anybody in the house can help me on this I will be extremely grateful. Can imagine I started bleeding today and OMG is so painful I dont usually have painful periods. I have booked an appointment with a gynaecologist I will keep you posted on what he would say to me so that you would have a clearer view of your situation. Cheers!!!!

im in somewhat of the same position.. im a young girl and my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex while i ad my period, a few days later when the period was gone we had sex again but the condom broke so we were extremly worried, i took plan b that night and about 5 days later i had light bleeding for about 2-4 days.. that was about a week-week and a half ago the only symptoms ive been having is my left breast is very tender to the touch under my arm and ive had some cramping, also i broke out on my face which happens occasionally before my period.. today i woke up and some some blood in the toilet.. should i be worrie about pregnancy or is this just my normal period coming now? please help i dont know what to do!

Hey I had a miscarriage too so i know what it feels like when you get preg. again.. and then having to wait..but try to wait a few more weeks and do another test. If you want more reassurance maybe go to doctors and get referred to do a Blood pregnancy test..But all we can do is wait for results really...

I had a miscarriage last year and every since I have had irregular period. I usually only miss a month or two months at the most. I am currently 3 months late and counting. I took a dollar store pregnancy test and it came back negative(It worked fine with the first pregnancy). I have been having the worst back aches and all I do is sleep all day. Since my periods are irregular should I wait a couple more weeks before I take another test?

OMG, I'am in the same position but now i have vaginal bleeding which doesn't look the same as period blood and i am not sure what is going on because i still have symtoms of pregnancy i just hope it isnt ectopic :( ..My last period was June 19th! And i had unprotected sex on July 18th... Help. I never miss my period...

Go see your O.B.G.Y.N to make sure that everything is okay. Drinking fluids flushes your body out and can lead to negative testing. Ask your doctor about Nuva Rings or Birth Control pills, because they have been used to help start missed periods. If you have a U.T.I. then all you take is a pill and that's done by taking a pee test at the clinic. You can also ask about p.s.o.s. if you have missed your period more then a few times within the year. Better is just speak up then hide it when it comes to this stuff.
