Light Period

I have been taking clomid for the last 6 months.  ( was at 50 not at 100)  .  We did conceive last month but ended with a chemical pregnancy .  I have noticed this month and in the past that my periods are light and last about 2 days .  My concern is this may be the cause of us not able to have a successful pregnancy .  Has anybody experienced this ?  Thanks !

I understand completely .  I feel like all i do these days is look at a calendar and pee on a stick (ha)  It can be so stressful .  I count down the days until I ovulate again .  Hopefully you get the hsg and will conceive again and it will be successful !!!  I wish you the best and keep you head up  ( I know how hard that can be) .  Please keep me informed on your dr appt etc. GOODLUCK !!!!!!

Hi again,no im not pregnant waiting to have the same thing done as yourself.i tried clomid several years ago,but it didnt work for me,im now awaiting my period so i can  book an hsg.i dont think my periods were down to the clomid though.but ive had the same light periods for some time now,but your right i have read that it can be caused by the lining..unfortunately i cant have iui since i have a blocked right tube,they say changes are slim.but this month my cycle is never ending i should have got af 2 days ago,i know exactly when i ovulated.ive been charting for so long.but negative tests :(
but ive been having alot of pain in the pelvic region,wondered if had somthing to do with light flows....but i want the hsg done so i can get on with it..ive had it before,and concieved shortly after,but sadley mc..i wish you all the best..

Thank you for responding ! They have not suggested that I stop taking clomid yet.  I had and HSG and we tried conceiving last month ( which was the first time after the HSG) I did received a positive on a hpt , but then got my period a few days later.  (chemical pregnancy).  So that concerned me , thinking it was maybe the lining was thin not being able to support the pregnancy .   So i am trying clomid for 2 more months (since hsg increases fertility for 3 months)  .  Then if that is not successful they are going to do an iui.  You are going to the dr tomorrow ..... are you pregnant ?

Hi there im afraid i cant answer that for you,although i would be curious to know myself,i have 1 day medium flow and 1 day of spotting,i was on clomid a long time ago.i think we all occasionally have strange months,i do ave the doctors tomorrow to discuss this so i will pm you let you know what they say...have the doctors told you to stop the clomid for now,there suggest after using it for 6 months to take a break from it...
