Recurrent Miscarriage

Within the last 8 months I have had 3 miscarriages. They were all very early, before day 40. I am currently pregnant again and am very nervous about another miscarriage. On day 25 I had a quantative hcg of 76. On day 28 I had a quantative hcg and progesterone level taken. Hcg was 368, progesterone 21. My Dr. put me on progesterone suppositories 200mg once a day and I have been taking a baby aspirin a day. Is there anything else that I should be doing to try to help this pregnancy along? Thank you for your time.

I read today that even couples that have four consecutive m/c's still have a 50-60 percent chance at having a healthy normal pregnancy. 3 m/c's there is a 70% chance of normal pregnancy. I will definately keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Please stay in touch. I will try and update as soon as I got to the dr. Take care! If you need me I am here. :)

Well Congradulations and may God bless you with this baby may this pregnancy be healthy and beautiful for you.Try not to worry and keep your faith in him.Well I got back to the Dr. on 12/7 for more blood work to make sure my hormone levels are back down to zero, and to have an ultrasound to make sure this miscarriage is complete. Thanks for the advice though cause I really don't want to wait. It may not happen before Christmas for me but I just want it to happen and be successful and I want to give birth to a beautiful healthy baby.I'm going to start taking a prenatal vitamin and the baby aspirin everyday to try to keep the next one then I'll start the Progestrone once I've concieved.I have you in my prayers.Keep me in yours:) Be Bless

Well since I last spoke to you I found out that I am pregnant again!!!!! I am very scared we were suppose to wait until after we could have a biopsy of my uterus this time. I had my first m/c on May 1st I was 13 weeks. (No baby formed, no gest. sac, pole...nothing) I had another m/c on 9/1, and the third on 11/2. So we were not waiting at all. You are actually most fertile after your m/c's. If you are trying to get pregnant again the first two weeks after you STARTED bleeding is when you would get pregnant. Well for me that seems to be the case. Good Luck to you we are also trying to play "Santa" for a 5 year old who wants a little brother or sister almost as bad as we want to give her one. Keep praying.

I have you in my prayers. No he didn't tell me exactly what the baby aspirin do.I just said that he wanted me to wait 3 months so he can run some test. And that if I become pregnant again he wants me to start the progestrone and baby aspirin right away.I really don't understand alot of this all I know and all I pray is to have another healthy baby.I fee that we don't make children God gives them to us and he knows my heart. My son really wants a brother or sister always around Christmas time he always say, " momma I'm gone ask Santa to bring me a brother or a sista".So how long did you wait before you tried again? I really don't want to wait three months. The test he wants to run I previously had them ran and they found nothing wrong.Well I wish you success and thank you for responding to me.Sometimes I feel so alone and lost when it comes to this. You are in my prayers be blessed.

I have also has 3 consecutive m/c. My doctor put me on progestrone with this last one and we actually got to see the heart beat. Do they tell you what the baby aspirin does for you? I always wondered that? They think with this last pregnancy they started me on progestrone to late, that it should be started the day of conception. So we will see. We are also desperate to carry a healthy baby.

I have have one stillborn, 2 etopic pregnacies and 2 miscarriages.I recently found out that I was pregnant on Oct 24th.From previous pregnancies I was told my hormone level was not rising with the pregnacy. So I tried to get in to see an OB/GYN dr as soon as possible but my insurance did not have any openning.I finally was able to get in on Nov. 9 and the dr gave me a prescription for Progesterone.Well on Nov 16th I have had my second miscarriage.I was so happy to know the baby was in the right spot after having two etopics. My dr is going to do some more blood work.I had blood work done before and everything was normal/negative.My dr suggest that next time I get pregnant I start taking Progesterone and a Baby Aspirin ASAP.Have anyone had success with this.We are really trying to carry a baby to term. Are there any suggestions? My dr said I should wait 3 months before trying to concieve again.Do I really have to wait that long?I read where some women say they had to take injections of Heparin. How safe is that? Please help. Please join me and my partner in prayer that we will be able to carry a baby to term and that our baby will be born healthy.I pray that everyone on here who is facing these same type of problems and even some different ones that we all will be able to have a successful pregancy and that our babies will be born healthy in Jesus name AMEN! I pray. Thanks for all responses in advance.Be Blessed.
