I have a negative blood type and the babys faher is positive so if the baby is also positive and pur blood mixes at delivery it could be bad news. (My blood will create antibodies and attack the babys blood causing severe anemia, jaundice, etc) you get the shot at 28 weeks. If you have a positive blood type you are all clear.

Its for mother's who are rh negative. It stops out bodies from adopting the babies antigens from their blood..which can cause our bodies to reject the next baby it we ever end up pregnant again...we also get a second shot since we've delivered...its something your doctor would have informed you of

Butt is the most common area they do the shot. It sting when they inject the shot and will burn for a few days. Other then that... no worries.
