baby's sex

I am 16 weeks 2 days as of yesterday. I went for my ultrasound and check up. They said they did not see any little boy parts. has anyone been told this then the baby turn out to be the other???? I am wanting to know so bad what this baby is and I didn't get any answers probably because it is so early yet. Also I go in Sept to see a maternal fetal med doc and they are going to do a complete scan( because I am 37) to make sure the baby is ok has anyone had this done and what does it intale???

My friend was told she is having another girl. She had 3 different U/S and they all said it looks like a girl. She had her baby on June 6 and Guess what: It is a Boy. Everyone was in shock. Baby had to wear pink for a while.

Good luck.

My dr. was able to see my baby's little penis at 15w4d. Granted, that was a specialist, so maybe his equipment was able to do a more detailed scan. I got amnio that same day and the chromosomes confirmed it was a boy!

I'd wait until your further along to see if you can see more.  I was told that we were having a girl with our first and we had a little boy.  Also a friend of mine was told she was also having a girl then at about 30 weeks they did another ultrasound and found out it was a boy.

My friend was told that she was having a girl the whole pregnancy, well from 16 weeks on. She had 4 other u/s after the first one and they always said it was a boy, so she bought all boy stuff and guess what when she gave birth it was a girl. You can never be sure until birth or unless you get an amino.
