I hope that caught your attention.  The correct term when finding out if the baby is a male or female is SEX, not gender.  No prenatal test is going to tell you your child's gender.

A child's SEX is biological.  XX or XY, penis or vagina.
A child's GENDER is psychological.

The majority of the time they do match up but they are NOT interchangeable.

Let's not forget this lovely phrase I read yesterday..."He s u c k e d my juices dry!" That made me so sick, she really thought she could get pregnant from oral sex! Naïve and vulgar what a lovely combination!  That is right up there with "fingered"! I never understood how people could write such vulgar post and expect to get a real reply!

By the way I think gender and sex are interchangeable too!

You know, when I wrote the post saying after pregnate and virginia, knowing the distinction between sex and gender is graduate-level studies, I had another sentence to insert there, involving the words "nutted" and "cummed" (as in, "he cummed in me,") but I thought the point was better made with the more simple examples, so I took it out.  "Nutted" really does gross me out.  And I always wonder what the point is in spelling come wrong -- if people are going to say "***," why can't they just say "come?"  We also had a poster who had problems with her "utares," which I always thought sounded like a Star Trek location ("Captain, we're about to enter the Utares Nebula.")
