You really don't want it to be incompetent cervix... I'm praying its not. That's why I'm telling you to go get checked BC I'm not a Dr and anything is possible.. I'm just concerned BC of the back ache and pressure.. but itdoes sound different.. tthat's why I'm leaning towards infection. But i dont know. I wouldn't wait any longer if I were you. Go to the hospital get checked out.. they will tell you what's wrong.. its a few hours but worth it for you're own peace of mind.
I haven't ruled that out so possibly. Thank you both for the input. I'll definitely be getting checked out soon
It doesn't really sound like incompetent cervix then... you usually would just have lower back pain or no pain at all... and like I said you would feel pressure on you're lower abdomen..either way I'm not a doctor and you should def go to the hospital.. BC if it was that and you get checked in time they can do something.. but once its to late they can't and its a horrible thing to go through. You really shouldn't be experiencing those symptoms either way, something doesn't sound right.. it could be a uti or a bladder infection.. or a yeast infection or could be something else.. please don't wait any longer and go to the hospital. They can do tests and tell you what exactly is wrong.
Maybe you have a bladder infection?
The pressure feels like I really need to go to the bathroom but my bladder is completely empty
Does it ever feel like there is a balloon in there? I'm asking BC that's one of the biggest signs.. but that's already when things are usually to far gone.
Actually when I lost my first baby due to incompetent cervix I did have lower back pain.. but none of you're other symptoms.. doesn't mean it can't happen though. Since you're 18 weeks that could be a concern.. you could be feeling lower pelvic pressure back ache mild abdominal cramps increase in discharge or light vaginal bleeding.. do you feel anything in you're vagina (weird question I know)
Nvm you're kinda early for preterm labor. But still not good. Green discharge is a sign for a yeast infection..
Thank you ladies so much! Did this ever happen to you Dominique? I read that you have lost 2 in the second trimester ( i'm sorry for your loss)
And it does sound like preterm kabor
You're a little early for preterm labor, but anything is possible.. I would definitely go to get checked out, it'll ease your mind, too! I would definitely be alarmed..
U need to ho go a hospital. U need a Dr to see you.
I was researching a bit online because my manager thinks it's cause for concern, and it's talking about preterm labor? That's a scary thought. When i called originally, the desk lady told me to watch out for green or brown discharge, which is now happening.
Not sure what it could be but I would definitely go to the hospital to get checked out..
