Hi! You will have to change your nickname if you succeed!
According to the manufacturer, you should expect your period within 4-6 weeks--presuming you ovulate normally. There is no reason not to try right away. Once you do have your period, you will be able to time things a bit better. I have had a few patients who never did have a period, and launched right into another pregnancy--so keep that in mind and check that out if you don't have a period soon.
Good Luck!

Hi there. It just so happens one of my childrens names is Quinn too! Anyway, I had the Copper IUD in place for 7 yrs after MY Quinn was born and had it removed in Feb of 08, then fell preg only 2 months later. Sadly that pregnancy ended in M/C in April. I attribute the M/C to a lack of uterine lining from IUD use. I am still ttc and it's nearly 7 months later. I have heard of women getting preg shortly after IUD was removed and having perfectly fine pregnancies though, so I think each case is unique. Good Luck to you!
i got my period very lightly on nov 13 and then had my mirena iud removed nov 14. once having it removed, i've had my period ever since. sometimes its heavy and sometimes it gets light just like a normal period. it is now nov 21 and i still have my period. how long will it last and should i be ovulating within the next few days?
Thank you. You have set my mind at ease!!
