With my son I only took folic acid and for the last month I took Elevit. (Im in Australia) My sons a completely normal active little boy. This pregnancy im not taking anything apart from folic acid again. I put the bottle ontop of my milo tin so wen I make my morning milo I see it and have it. Saw my baby last week and he or she was very active. I eat really well also. I wouldnt stress but of coarse sumones going to get on after me and say you should be taking vitamins!!
When I was working I always carried some in my purse, and left some at my desk at work too. I kept forgetting until after I got to work, and it helped a lot just to have them accessible at all times. You might also get a watch with an alarm that can remind you when you need to take them, or just set your phone to do it.
The way I do it...is I take them every night around 8 830 ....because im always working in the day and I know ill forget them...and also I leave them right beside my bed next to my water bottle lol...i always see ut..even if I forget earlier..i see it and remember before going to sleep...also its better to take them at night if they make u nauseaus..that way u sleep through the nausauesness
I'm sure your son is fine. The vitamins are mainly for your sake, so you wont end up having tooth decay from loss of vitamins and such from what the baby takes from you. But the baby will take what he needs from your body, it will just be better to try to remember to take them as much as you can so you won't start feeling icky :)
I didn't take prenatal vitamins because I always got sick on them. I did, however, take flintstone chewable vitamins because they were the only ones I could keep down. My daughter is totally healthy. If you aren't taking your vitamins, you should be sure to try to eat a healthy, balanced diet and consider taking a folic acid supplement. It'd also be a good idea to consult with your doctor about it just to put your mind at rest.
