Ultra sound accuracy

Anyone know how accurate ultra sounds are when guessing babies weight?

They want to do a sweep next Wednesday as the doc says she feels big, but my scan said she was only seven pounds and on the small side for how far along I am. I'm 38+4 today and was 38 at the ultra sound. Just worried about pushing out a heffer!

I had one at 39 weeks, & was told my daughter was around 8 pounds. One week later, I had an emergency c-section to a healthy 6 pound baby! :)

I'd like to know as.well I think it supposes be a lb either way at mo my baby just under 5lb but may b delivered next week so hoping he bigger
