5 Weeks Pregnant & Slipped on Ice

I am 5 weeks pregnant today and slipped on ice walking into work. I landed on my left hip/ bottom. My hip is sore and I'm sure I'll have a nice bruise by the end of the day. I know my baby is teeny tiny at this point but I just want to make sure there is nothing to worry about. Anyone have a fall this early?

When I was about 9 weeks pregnant with my son, I fell on my butt trying to get on my sister's hammock.  It bruised me up quite nicely, but no harm to the baby.  He's a super-smart 14 month old, so I guess it didn't jostle him too much! :-)  I am sure you will be fine, too, other than a nice bruise.

Yea, other than a bruise and being sore, you should be fine. I hope you feel better soon!!
I have a tendency to fall up the stairs (weird I know, I trip very easily in pregnancy) and so far with each of my pregnancies I've slipped down the last 4 steps in my house as well. It's ridiculous. But each time I just pulled a muscle in my arm (trying to stop myself from falling) and hurt my bum/hip.
Baby is very well protected in there.

You should be fine. I did the same thing with my last pregnancy and the dr said only to worry if you have bleeding. She said the baby isn't fruit on a tree that you can shake loose. I always thought that was funny.

we had a really bad freeze about 3 or 4 weeks ago here in texas were i live and i was walking up the stairs and fell and the middle step hit me right in the stomach i had a bruise but nothing more.

I did only i went flying off my bike rather then slipping, thought Maybe i was superman at the time lol,  when i rang up they said aslong as there was no immediate bleeding or pain it should be fine, and it was :) hope your ok x
