am i pushing it ?

Ive decided to take my maternity leave at 38 weeks . Should I take it sooner ?? ...due to the fact that ive already dilated

Hell no f that there wont be a need of allowing this mama go that much overdue im srry i jus cannot . Lol

They allow you to go 2 weeks overdue because they may be off on the dates.

I think 38 is good. That's when I'm taking off of school , we'll luckily that's when the school year ends , my last day of school I'll be 38 weeks 1 day lol.

One of the girls I worked with worked until the baby came. She went into labor while at work actually! It's a personal preference. She was dilated for 3 weeks before labor. I'd say trust your instincts and body and take leave when your body is telling you to!

I've decided to take my maternity leave at 39 week's, but as I get further along I will discuss with my Midwife if she thinks it would be better to finish work. If she agrees I will ask her to sign me off

Some people dilate for weeks before going into Labour. Discuss it with your Dr at your next appt. If she doesn't think you should be working she can sign you off on forced mat leave. And your employer will have to comply
