back pain???

I'm 21 weeks & 2 days n have lower back pain on my left side and it kind shoots down my back to my leg...is that normal what can it be???

Thank you...ya the pain will stop the sometimes it shoots down my butt to my thigh then my back aches then stops again.

Thats the sciatic nerve, its very unpleasant! It's very common in pregnancy, mine usually gets better away after I move around a little. You might have itfr a while after baby arrives until everything in your body settles down again. Nothing to worry about, just another lovely pregnancy symptom!

I'm not one hundred percent sure but with my pregnancy my son sat on my sciatic nerve and that's what happened to me! It was like almost a burning ache for me!
