baby at opening of cervix

As soon as my baby changed posistions with head down I have been in soo much pain. In general I am carrying very low but I didnt think she'd be sitting at the opening of my cervix and Im only 29 weeks! Ive had to go to the hospital for preterm contractions (thank god it was false alarm). The doctors said my cervix is nice and long and closes which is good but Im so paranoid the baby will come out early since shes right at the opening. The pain is unbearable my vag hurts so much when I walk:( is anyone else going through this problem?

Yeah, they can bounce up and down on your cervix giving you a sharp shock for ages before anything happens. Just try to remember to sit down slowly!

That is normal. As long as your cervix remains closed, long, and strong you will be fine.
