Thanks,
I thought they had otc ones but i wasnt sure!
Either or. I have prescription prenatals and OTC ones. I actually hold the OTC ones down better, and they also have everything my baby needs. It's your preferance really.
Thanks for all the comments!
I am going to see a different doctor, my usual doc says I will need some help! I haven't had a ms since july 09,PCOS symptoms.I have been off the pill for 4 yrs. We have not been ttc as in figuring when I ovulated(since I probably am not) but we aren't preventing.
I guess I just need to talk to the doc then soon.
Do I get prenatal pill from the doc or is it a over the counter thing?
If you already have medical evidence of fertility problems. Like a screwed up cycle that only happens once or twice a year I think the Dr will give you something to help conceive. Every Dr is different. I would suggest making an appt with your Dr to discuss your concerns and see what he/she says you should do. They might want you to try 6-12 months drug free or might start you on help right away. You never know.
Yeah, the doc won't give you fertility meds until you have had difficulty conceiving (usually a year). But it's a good idea to talk to your doc about ways to increase your chances of conceiving, such as taking prenatal vitamins and tracking your signs of fertility (also known as Natural Family Planning).
as far as i know the doc wont give you any fertility drugs untill you have been tryin for over a year.. Get on pre natal vitamins as of now so your body has all the right nutrients for when you do conceive x best of look! X
