baby shower question...

So my friend and I were having a hard time finding a hall to rent for my baby shower because they were so expensive! But thank god a girl from work is a member at a social club and is helping me out and they are only charging me $100 for 4 hours which is not a bad deal at all! So im happy! Anyways I was wondering what would be a good time to start the baby shower? Idk if I should do 2pm or 3pm or earlier than that what time did ur baby showers start ladies?

I'm doing mine 1 to 3, it's afternoon, don't need to worry about serving lunch, kids wont be cranky, road conditions (I live in NY, it gets bad in the winter/spring) are decent, gives you time to relax before dinner... That's my advice.
