Sex very early on

I just found out I'm pregnant and my husband has been worried that since I am pregnant there could be a possible risk of detachment if we have sex too early on. I just need some advice and see what your opinions are so that we can settle this.

Does he realize how many people have sex without knowing they are pregnant. Things are solo small it doesn't affect it (unless there extenuating circumstances). Go for it!  :-)

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that as far as is known, there is no increased risk to the baby/pregnancy if you DO have intercourse during and UNCOMPLICATED pregnancy.  For thousands of years humans had intercourse during the first trimester--it is only very recently that we have even been able to diagnose pregnancy this early.
If you have any bleeding or cramping, or any other condition that puts you at high risk, you should avoid intercourse.  I also strongly recommend that you find out what your doctor's policy is too.
Good luck!
