Thank you for all the responses!!! Yeah im not gonna do it all the reviews I read said they were wrong...and like any thing else its a 50/50! But im not getting my hopes up so im just not going do it. So thanks again everyone!!! :)
It is for fun only, they look neat though. However as I was on progesterone I could not take one:( If you have PCOS it will say boy no matter what and with progesterone say girl no matter what.
From other woman on here that have done them had trouble with the results and lighting issues but like I said it sounds fun. However if it gave me a test that could be either I probable would be frustrated had spending the money for it. They are not cheap really for entertainment purposes.
Sorry but its a scam.......anyone could give you an answer on what your having with the same accuracy.......50/50 Only I will tell you for free :) lol
I had a family BBQ about a month ago, my Aunts and cousins had one waiting for me just for fun when I arrived. I told them I would do it, but wasn't counting on accuracy and not to take it seriously. It said boy and I just found out I am having a boy this week. I think it may have been coincidence, but the website did claim 80% accuracy ??? If you do take it don't count on the results.
Those tests are a scam, plain and simple. Don't waste your money! They're purely for entertainment purposes and are not endorsed by doctors or the FDA.
The only way to accurate determine the gender of the baby is with an ultrasound or sample of DNA (from amniocentesis).
Gender tests work based on how acidic your urine is and turn a certain color based on that value. Urine acidity is related to what you eat/drink and is completely unrelated to gender of your baby.
My sister used the inteligender and it was WRONG. Told her she was having a girl, and she had a bouncing baby boy. Like any otc gender prediction kit, they have a 50/50 chance of being right (or wrong). :) I personally wouldn't waste money on it. Just wait for the ultrasound.
