Whooping cough injection

Ive got an appoitment to get the whopping cough injection in the morning i hope im doing the right thing ive read alot agaisnt and alot for it. What is everyone elses views on it?

i got mines today at 34wks.. my doctor explained that it will not harm me or baby and will defend baby for first 8wks before he gets his first vaccination

I got it and everything is just fine.  You need it, because it protects baby as well, your baby cant get the shot for quite awhile after birth.

I got it.  But like above poster I am going to make sure everyone who wants to deal with the baby has it. I am 30wks and got the shot and no side effects and baby is perfectly healthy.

I got it and I'm making sure everyone who will be around my baby will have it. Its not something that can harm you personally but it can kill your baby. Its not even that bad. I didn't even feel it when I got it. My arm was only sore afterwards for like three days.

i got mines and had NO problems i would say get it coz if ur baby died or became ill with whooping coff because of stuff you read about the jab youd be only blaming urself dont take this the wrong way but you need to protect your baby
