If you do breastfeed, depending on how much you weigh, consume more calories! I was only able to breastfeed my daughter strictly for 2 months bc it was causing me to lose weight. After I had her I went back to my prepregnancy weight of 112 then dropped to 108, being that I'm 5'8 thats not a healthy weight to be.

I was being indecent. Why couldn't I just pump. I was breastfeeding in public for a rise. I was being rude. At one time a teenage boy tried to argue that breastfeeding is "mouthrape" and even pointed me to where he was getting his info for that off facebook. I dont think it's right to cover your baby up and make them eat in shame. We wouldnt do that when we were eating. And people find breasts awkward bc social media has turned them into sex objects, toys for men. It was just so frustrating and im usually a tough cookie but man. Nothing is harder than being scornes for taking care of your baby.

I breastfed my first for two months before I got so sick of people saying something to me or talking about me every time we went out that I tried to exclusively pump. But pumps didnt work for me so I switched to formula only to fond out its tearing - literally - her stomach from a lactose allergy that I didnt know was in my biological family. If you wantto bbreastfeed dont give up bc of other people! I regret it so much.

I'll be breastfeeding and pumping for a while. I really want to go past six months hopefully I can. If he's like me when I was a baby I was allergic to milk for a while so hopefully he won't be but if he is then he'll be breastfed even longer.
