cramps

Good morning, so I'm 19weeks for the last week I've been having on and of again cramps like pain so i went to the doctor she told me baby is fine that its probably just my uterus stretching. The pain is mostly on my left side by my belly button and sometimes feels like period cramps. Does any one else have this? Thank you

Ask ur Dr to check ur cervix just in case. I get mine checked ever 3 weeks I have a cerclage put in because I lost my other baby at 20 weeks I had the cramps but didn't think much of it because I tought it was normal and constipation. Just get checked out it never hurts to be sure. I wish u the best and hope what ur getting is just normal uterus streching.

You should go to the doctor I complain about cramping and they checked my cervix and its a bit open so what that means I might have a premature baby im only 18&4 days just get that checked

I would have to agree with your doctor. It is more then likely your uterus stretching. Your muscles will also be stretching too to make room for your baby. I get them on and off, so it is normal. I'm 29w 3d. So you'll probably experience them on and off your entire pregnancy
