When do they start checking to see if your dilating at your appointments? I'm 29 weeks and 3 days today my next appointment is I believe on April 4th. Will they check then?

I didn't get checked until 39 weeks and my doctor even asked if I want him to check. It wasn't comfortable at all.

I dont think it hurts to be checked, its uncomfortable but completely tolerable. I liked gettng checked as much as possible cuz when they check you it could "irritate" down there and make you progress

Every place is different my midwife said she wont check me till im 39 weeks unless I ask to be checked im just now 37weeks nd my apt are now every week but I dont think im going to ask to be checked unless I feel like labor is coming sooner then i thought. ..when they check it hurts   .  Is uncomfortable soni can wait
