dye??

can i pls have some thoughts and opinions of some moms who have or are going to dye/highlight (get there hair done) while pregnant...do u believe it is safe? will your hair take the treatment?

I was told it was safe, as long as you're in an open room... And you aren't really BREATHING in the fumes. I've dyed my hair once this pregnancy, and highlights in the early stages. And everything seems to be fine. Just make sure you're not in a closed room or anything.. Or keep your window open. Idk, just enough to let you breathe.

I dyed my hair in a well ventilated room and the color came on better then ever. Perfectly fine

I dyed my hair just a couple weeks ago and it looks great! My hair took the color so much better than normal. I did and all over color and highlights. I just made sure the room was well ventilated and I didn't breath the fumes. Dying it outside would probably be best.

Ive had mine done twice this pregnancy. Just advoid it in the first trimester is all.

I dyed my hair at about 38-39 weeks (I can't rely remember) & dyed a friend's hair at about 26 weeks .

All I did was kept the room ventilated . No harm to the baby and both of our hair came out very pretty.

I'm having mine done on Tuesday in the salon - I had to have a patch test done because I'm pregnant for precautions but they said its fine to do pregnant people's hair once the dye doesn't contain certain chemicals.  

I wouldn't use box tho
