Thank you for answering my previous question.  I did a pregnancy test yesterday and today, both were positive.  This would make me nearly four weeks pregnant.  But for the last three days i have had a small amount of mucus which is brown in colour.  Should i be concerned about this?

Hello,

No.  It likely represents old blood from previous bleeding.  If you notice bright red vaginal bledding along with abdominal pain you should see a physician urgently.

I wouldnt be.  I will be 7 weeks on Monday and for almost 7 days right around 4 weeks I had brown blood tinged mucus, It could be from implantation or it could be your cervix bleeding a little as it becomes more senitive and blood filled.  LIke I said, I had the exact same thing at basically the same point that your at, and I am now 7 weeks and baby is fine.  Good luck and have a wonderful pregnancy!!!
