my bf wanted me to take a test this morning when I got up. I guess he can't wait.. well it's a BFN! I'm so irritated now.
I know to NEVER judge your hpt results the next day. But, I have mine from thursday. Their in the bathroom. I wanted to see if I'd get an evap line later on.. So I looked at the last two, and one only had one line in the test window, and the other had two... so I said.. well ok, if he wants me to take a test.. I guess I could...


I'm getting tired of this BFN, Faint positive, BFN thing. Makes me upset. I'm 5 days late, no sign what so ever of Af, sneezing, runny/stuffy nose, bloody snot sometimes, and crazy amount of cm... Makes you think your preggers right?
I'm going crazy. lol

i still stick with the digital ones.  My 1st pregnancy, the ditigal test said postive 2 days after af was due.  The next time i was pregnant, i used many otehr tests and some came up negaitve a week after AF was due and some had a faint lne, finally i again bought the digital and it said pregnant again, so i do have faith in the ditigal because i think they read at only 25 hcg level which is pretty low and should be there within a hosrt amount of time after AF is due and your preggers.

I got a faint positive with First Response Early Response at 12 DPO - if you want to try it - they are really sensitve.  Good luck and keep us posted!

Afternoon ladies. Man I'm FULL.
I just had some milo's. It feels like I get fuller faster for some reason. I didn't even finish my food like I usually do. It's weird. And, as I was typing that sentence, I sneezed! haha.
Well I'm now, 6 days late and so far not even the smallest amount of blood to be seen.

I think the blood test at this point would probably be a good choice.

Well tests are expensive, and I'd buy like a bunch at a time every week.
And I didn't REALLY spend $100, it was just and exaggeration, but I was up there... I spent ALOT.

But I ended up getting pregnant on an accident of him not pulling out ontime... so I knew it was around the 2 weeks after my period.
But I never really gave it any thought till my period was 2 days late... 5 days late... 17 days late...

I honestly think those tests are a total RIP OFF.

Everyone I've ever spoken to about those stupid things, always said that they NEVER got a positive reading anytime before a week after their period was due.

They say they're over 99% accurate and can give your a right answer 5 days, 4 days, 3 days, etc before your period.
Yeah, bullsh*t they can.

And y'all are right, I think we DO all fall in that 1% rank.

So we'll keep buying and buying until either we get a +answer, or our period comes.

Girl I went through almost $100 in tests cuz my period was like 2 months friggin late and I've ALWAYS ran on a 28 day cycle and I wasn't even on b/c.

I couldn't get set up with a doc cuz of the state of Texas won't accept my yankee insurance. lol.
Which is why I'm moving back to Massachusetts with my mr. Joshypants here in about 3 weeks so I CAN get set up with a doc.
So it wasn't like I could go get a blood test. lol.

Ugh sorry, my fiancee keeps coming in and talking to me about cars and gas mileage and making me lose my train of thourgh.

Oh yeah, so I just kept testing cuz I KNEW I was pregnant cuz Josh n I did have unprotected sex every once in a while cuz he always had a problem with finding a comfortable condom for reasons I'd REALLY rather not get into. lolol.

I was just reading the same thing...all the tests I have say 99% accurate, the day of your expected or missed period. And uhhh that just isn't the case with some people. Are we all in that 1% range??

Ohh noo. I'm not stressed at all.. I know that will keep my period from coming.
I just get confused.. but I know not to ever stress...
When the tests confuse me... I just say ok.. I'll test later on.
And, then forget about it... Or post my thoughts on here so I'm not soo worried.
But, I promise.. I'm not stressed. I get mad easily when I'm stressed and I don't like it.
Makes me unlikeable to some. lol.

I just don't understand how a test can say over 99% effective when their not really. I know some tests pick up lower/higher than others and all that.
I'm just curious though, how many tests did you go through b4 you got a BFP?

I used First Response.
It came with 2 tests in it.

But I never got a positive reading till I was almost 7 weeks along.

And even still my results were very faint.

Now I'm 14w4d and my baby's fine.

If you keep stressing over it you will make your body mess up period dues, pregnancy symptoms, etc.

I did it to myself when I was stressing over it.
I SWORE to GOD that I was preg, but it was just me over reacting and stressing.

So basically all you gatta do is try not to think about getting pregnant, and let it happen.
Cuz if you try too hard, it's not gunna happen.
I guess that's just how the body works.

I read on here alot, that stressing about being preggo or getting preggo can also cause ur cycle to be late, so what I want you to do is just let it go & time will show you everything you need to know & Why don't you go get ur blood work done, that never lies.  I wish you the best of luck.

well thanks for telling me!! I should have known considering the box it came in had three test in it but it was only 8.00. My bf (well ok I guess I could start calling him my fiance' since he proposed again..just hard to break a habbit lol)...anyways, he gives me about 40 dollars twice a month to get my female supplies, shampoo & conditioners, or just for when I'm out somewhere and I see something I really want... etc... So I'll have 40 dollars, next week. I'm going to buy a all my needed things first. Then if still no af, I'll buy either a dollar store brand ...or a digital one depending how much I have left.

Equate and EPT are not good brands. I would suggest Clearblue Easy Digital or First Response (the one with the two pink lines... don't get the blue dye tests as they suck! And + / - tests are notorious for evaps).

well I used a dollor store brand the first time.. and got a BFN. Then I tried it again the next morning, and it was a faint positive...
I got a brand from walmart... which I thought it was E.P.T but it was an equate I believe.
I'm just gonna go back to the dollar store brand I tried the first time until I can go get a digital one.

Are you using the same tests?

If you are then those other tests were probably evaporation lines. They look like faint positives and they can show before the time limit is up!

If you're not using the same tests, then that could be where the error lies. Maybe you should forgo spending money on more tests and just go get a blood test at the doctor's office.
