It can take up to 6wks to recover from a section, with a new baby to deal with it could be tough. Induction isnt always pleasant, but it depends how they do it, if your cervix is closed then they will probably insert the gel to help you dilate, so you may well have a fairly 'normal' labour.

If you have a vaginal delivery, then it reduces any complications for future deliveries too, there are only so many sections that they are happy to do, and I've seen lots of comments from people having pain from their scars while pregnant again.

Don't be too frightened of induction, it can go very well. It didnt for me, but they used the drip and broke my waters, they cant do that if your cervix is closed, so mine was different compared to what they will have to do to you.

Read up on all your pain relief options, you will do fine....and you never know, baby may make an appearance in the meantime anyway! Good luck!

Every person and labour is different. My neighbor was induced and in labour for 36hrs and opted for a epidurral after 26hrs and my SIL was induced and only labored for 6hrs and did it without any pain meds
