Trying to conceive

So......I'm 19 yrs old. I lost my virginity when i was 15 then I got on birth control. (the depo). My last shot was due last November but i never got it. I hadn't takin any other birth control since. Now i have my period around the same time each month and i have unprotected sex. Does anyone know how long it can take to get pregnant after being on the depo shot for so long???

Getting pregnant can be easy for some and not for others, i took the depo when i was 18 and the year i was 21 one year a piece. Im now 25 almost 26 with my first pregnancy.  It can be frustrating having to wait but im glad i got through most my 20s to do whatever i wanted. Now that im limited i feel great! Dont worry you will get there and good luck

I wasn't on the shot, but it took me over a year to conceive after being on the Nuva Ring for about 5 years and I'm only 22. Try an ovulation or period tracker, there are some phone apps that you just enter info on your period and it will tell you when your ovulating and having high fertility.

I was on the shot for about 6 months then i got off it nd got pregnant within that month and i am now 24 wks with a baby girl on the way

I was on BC for 8 years and never got a period while on it. I stopped taking it and 2 months later i found out i was pregnant. I am now 11w1d!! Try and stay positive and know it will happen when its supposed to. I wish you the best pf luck! :)

I was put on depo 6 weeks after my first (i was 16) I stopped getting it after the second shot and its been almost 2 years and i haven't become regular yet. "/

Hi try not to stress yourself out trying to get pregnant it is a known fact that when we stress this can also cause us to not conceive I known its hard but you have to let nature take it's course try to use ovulation kits to work out your ovulation and if after 12 months your still not pregnant then it would be advised to seek a docs opinion. I was diagnosed with blocked Fallopian tubes 7 years ago and was told my chances of conceiving we're zero I started Chinese fertility treatment using a blend of herbs and was tested again in April to see if this had worked but it hasn't and my doc referred us for ivf. I was due to start my ivf on the 8th oct and u found out two weeks ago I'm pregnant. And each month u still continued to try even knowing I wud never get pregnant and last month I have up and it happened and u truly believe that stressing myself out each month didn't help in anyway

Trying to get pregnant can be very stressful and this is known to make you not conceive. Try to relax and not worry about conceiving and let nature take it's course. If after 12 months you haven't conceived then consult your doctor for tests

I been off depo 4 months now & I think I mite be pregnant this will be my third child stopped depo June 21st its now September im going to dr Monday to find out but idk how far along I'd be cuz my periods r wacked cuz depo I had my period August 13-25 then September 9-10th but the 2 days were brownish discharge any thoughts

Sounds just like my situation! Same ages and everything. Only thing is, i stopped depo in may. And im currently 2 months pregnant! I always thought i was okay. Reading that it takes a while to get out of your system..but apparently not for everyone. Good luck!

I was on the shot for 2 years it took me 1 year to get my period back and i got pregnate 1 year after my period. I'm 12 weeks pregnant. It will happen just depends on your body.
