Il be 36 wks tom and I was awake most of the night due to period like cramps and I'm still having them is this Braxton hicks or ? Didn't have this with my 1st

Im 36+4 and been getting them for about 10 days doc gave me medicine until friday to stop the labor caus is was too early to give birth she said after 36 is better, i was dilated 1 cm last week and the baby has dropped pretty low i think the same goes for u so after the medicine i be going to labor i guess :)

I'm 37 weeks and I have been getting period cramps too. I dont think they're comtractions but maybe just our bodies getting ready.

I'm 36 wks and get cramps foe the past two weeks. The doctor won't stop it if it is labor because you're so far along. However, if the cramping is stronger and closer together like 5-10 minutes apart, go to l&d. Otherwise, it's just your body getting ready for real labor.
