is my girlfriend pregnant

the first day of my girlfriends period was the 26th of september and it ended about the 3rd of october, also she is on the pill and has been for the past 4 months. since the last day of her period we have had protected sex on the weekends due to a long distance relationship, but then for some reason one day we were getting intimate and i didnt have any condoms and so for the first time i put it in her without a condom, there was no love making involved, it just went in her and then right out. now 3 days later here on the 13th of october she is experiencing brownish spotting. what could this be. she is scared and its making me scared, just wondering if you could help me?

Hi!
She is probably having break through bleeding as a side effect of the pills. BUT I ALWAYS recommend a pregnancy test. If the pregnancy test is negative, and if she has been taking her pills faithfully, I expect that you are in the clear.
I think the two of you sound very responsible! Make sure that you have an extra condom on you at all times--you just never know!

PS also, don't forget about Plan B also. I think that would be overkill for this situation, but it might save you some worry down the road.

Brownish spotting can be normal. Sometimes it means she is about to be on her period or is still coming off of it. And normally if you were to impregnate her she wouldnt be experiencing anything like that on the third day.
