just curious if anyone knows if it is possible to have a guy orgasm on your stomach, and if you take the sperm and put it in your vagina, ( around ovulation) can you get pregannt? this was posted on a different site and i found it interesting most people say no, but i seriously think that you can. i do not believe that sperm dies once it hits the air... i mean some are still alive right? so is it possible to get pregnant? :) just curious. thank you.

The odds of it happening are so slim that I wouldn't count on a pregnancy.

If kept warm at body temperature (like on the skin or in a warm test tube), sperm remain motile for several hours. Inside the female reproductive tract, they can live for up to 7 days. Sperm are very sensitive to temperature and moisture and will eventually die outside the body, but since each ejaculate may contain as many as 750 million sperm, and it only takes one sperm to result in pregnancy, precautions are essential. Ejaculation anywhere near the vagina, without condom use, should be a reason to consider emergency contraception.
