menstral

ive been on my period for 2 weeks and the blood is like red and browniish black,whats going on?

Hi!
The first thing I almost always check is a pregnancy test.  If that is positive then of course we would go down the path of ruling out ectopic or miscarriage.
If negative, it's a different story.  I usually like to do a complete exam and pap smear and probably an ultrasound.  Sometimes prolonged bleeding can be a sign of a build up in the uterine lining that needs to be cleaned out.  Most of the time this can be accomplished with progesterone.

You should definitely get a check up.
