tmi, to much discharge?

I apologize for the details, ive just come out of the shower and dried myself and as I was putting cocoa butter on I felt myself leak a little discharge, but as ive looked down its on my thighs and also fell to the floor?! I'm 33 weeks and wondering is that too much? Or is it possible it's something along the lines of a mucus plug? It didnt seem odd, milky and thin-ish.. :-S any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks girls :-) was just quite shocking to be honest ive never had it like that before!! It's hard to know what is normal and what isnt! Especially so late and close!

I have the same thing and I am 30w5d.  Doctor said it is normal to have more discharge.  I'm to the point that i have to wear a panty liner everyday.  When i get out of bed a bunch falls out (TMI) but it's like you said, Milky and thin.  I think the mucus plug is supposed to be thick and stringy (Resembling Snot, Yuck!) I have yet to see that. I know this is probably too much info too, but i notice if i go a couple of days without having sex my discharge is very heavy.  But if i have sex it seems to lighten up a little.

You're mucous plug is like a glob of boogers. It's very thick and a very light yellow with possibly a light tint if blood. And it usually comes out in pieces. I lost mine over a 4 day period with my last pregnancy and on the last day my water broke but I was 41 weeks. If it was your mucous plug I wouldn't worry to much about it. It can mean your body is preparing for labor but it can still be weeks away. I have to wear a panty liner everyday because of the amount of discharge I get. I'm 32 weeks 2 days. Just rest and wear a pad and monitor the discharge and if it becomes more like watery fluid call your Dr. Good luck:)
