milk

I'm 23 almost 24 weeks pregnant, first child, but I have yet to have breast tenderness. My Gots have gotten huge tho. Does that mean im not producing milk? When should I start producing milk. When does lactation begin?

You don't start producing milk until a few days after the baby is born. Until then you can have colostrum which you can also leak prior to giving birth. Don't worry if you don't have any tenderness not everyone has it.  With my first I had bad pain and tenderness,  with my second I just had some pain every now and then. With this prgnancy I had just an itchy sensation and sharp pains every now and then.  Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different.

You don't produce milk until after baby has come usually not for a couple days after though. What you will produce is colostrum which is what the baby will first drink before milk. You may or may not leak it at some point during pregnancy but not all do. It does not mean you won't produce so don't worry.
