Im taking mucinexDM right now.  In the 5th day of a 7 day treatment. My doctor prescribed it to me for a upper respiratory infection and then put my on antibiotics because it turned out to be pretty bad bronchitis. Idk if it's really helped me much.  I cOugh so much I throw up at Least 5 times a day. I have ny c section Tuesday so im trying to knock this junk out.

Benedryl is best. Its a class b drug.

My doctor prescribed it for me today for an upper respitory infection so yes but I would call the doctor first because mine said that they really dot like to prescribe it and there may be another option for you
